Return & Exchange Policies

 

NOTICE:

We reserve the right to update, change and or modify our policies at any time without notice. Please be advised.

General
We cannot accept “exchanges” if your purchase was made online. We can only accept “returns” for purchases made online. “Exchanges” on purchases made at one of our retail locations, or at one of our affiliate retail partner locations may be made where accepted. Terms, conditions, rules and regulations vary by store. Please be advised.

Return Instructions (Please read in full)

For purchases made online at americanartform.com
Upon receiving your American Artform purchased item(s) or product(s), promptly inspect for any issues (i.e. defects, damage, wrong size, etc). If you notice any issues, please document them immediately with photos (time and date stamped with the delivery date) and email them along with a detail explanation of the issue(s) to: americanartformreturns@gmail.com. (DO NOT falsely fabricate time and date stamp. This will void your refund request. Please be advised)
  • In the “Subject Line” of your email, please include the word “Return”, Your Name, Product SKU #, Date of Purchase, and Delivery Date.
  • In the “Body” of your email, please give a detailed description as to why you are returning the item(s) or product(s).
  • Attach photos of the item(s) pointing out any issues with your item(s) or product(s) to the email, and send.
  • If you have changed your mind about your purchase, or ordered by mistake, please specify this in the body of your email and attach photos of the item(s) or product(s) showing that the seal has not been broken or compromised, and that the item(s) or product(s) are in their original packaging, unworn, unused and untampered with, and are in the original condition in which you received them.

Upon sending your email, promptly mail the item(s) or product(s) via the United States Postal Service (USPS) to:

Please make sure to include: Your Name and Address, Your Receipt, Product SKU #, Date of Purchase, and Date of Delivery with your item(s) or product(s) that you are returning.

All returned items and products must be sealed and returned in their original condition and packaging, and you must include the purchase receipt inside of the return packaging. It is perfectly acceptable to place the original packaged item(s) or product(s) into a separate secondary shipping container (i.e. envelope, bag, or box), to ensure shipping security when returning your item(s) or product(s). However, if you do not seal your item(s) or product(s) and include your purchase receipt and its original packaging. A refund will not be issued.

Once we have received your item(s) or product(s), we will then conduct a thorough inspection to determine the value of your return. Depending on our findings. (i.e. whether the item(s) or product(s) are defective from the factory, damaged in shipping, or deliberately damaged). We will then issue an appropriate refund. Items or products that are defective from the factory, or damaged during shipping will receive a full refund. Items or products that are deliberately damaged will not receive any refund, and will be shipped back to you. Item(s) or product(s) that are dirty, have been worn, washed or used will not receive any refunds, and will be promptly sent back to you.

For Purchases Made At One Of Our Affiliate Retail Partner Locations
All, American Artform items and products purchased at or through one of our affiliate retail partners must be returned to the store from where it was purchased (Online or retail location). All terms, conditions, rules and regulations of their return policy program apply and will be enforced by them. We will not accept American Artform items or products purchased from any of our affiliate retail partners. No exceptions.

Items And Products That Are Eligible To Be Returned.

  • Clothing and wearable accessory Items and products that are in their original condition (unwashed and unworn and in their original packaging. Item(s) or product(s) not in this condition will not be accepted.)
  • Item(s) or product(s) that are in their original condition (unwashed and unused and in their original packaging. Item(s) or product(s) not in this condition will not be accepted.)
  • Items and products which are damaged or defective (unless deliberately damaged, dirty, worn or used.)
  • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. (no exceptions.)
How Do I Know If An Item I Purchased Is A Final Sale Item?
  • If purchasing through americanartform.com there will be a notification in the product description stating that it is a ‘Final Sale’  or  a ‘Clearance’ item. If purchasing at an American Artform retail location, there will be a ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance’ sticker either on the packaging, or the item itself. And may also be in a bin labeled ‘Final Sale’, or ‘Clearance’. You will not find any ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance’ items or products anywhere else other than americanartform.com, or an American Artform retail location.
  • None of our affiliate retail partners carry American Artform ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance’ items or products, unless they have discontinued selling a specific item or product of their own accord and have deemed it to be a ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance item’, or similar meaning.
  • ‘Final Sale’, or ‘Clearance’ items and products that you will find at americanartform.com, or at American Artform retail locations are typically defective, damaged, discontinued, or a one of a kind item and product. These items or products will be reduced in price (discounted), making them ‘Final Sale’ items and products. Some ‘one of a kind’ items or products may be listed at full price if it is not damaged or defective, used or worn.
Are There Limitations On Returning Specific Merchandise?
  • Purchases made through americanartform.com, or at one of our American Artform retail locations, cannot be returned to one of our affiliate retail partner locations. These purchases must be returned to American Artform, LLC. (See above for Return Instructions.)
  • Items or products such as Swimwear, Bras, Sports Bras, Underwear / Undergarments, and Socks, etc., cannot be returned or exchanged at ANY American Artform retail location or online forum, if the seal of the original packaging as been broken or compromised. Swimwear, Underwear / Undergarments and alike type items or products must have the original price tags and hygienic liner intact.
  • Some of our affiliate retail partners may allow the return of these items or products, however, you will need to contact them directly for their terms, conditions, rules and regulations before returning specific items or products.
  • Certain Footwear, Drinkware, Silverware and similar items and products will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, but should all be in its original condition, clean, free of odor, unwashed, unworn, unused and in its original packaging. Items or products not in this condition will not receive any refund and will be promptly shipped back to you.
  • Final Sale and Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. Please be advised.
What If I Made A Purchase And Change My Mind, or Purchased By Mistake and I Want To Return It?
  • Since we do not offer overnight delivery orders. Upon placing an order, you have up to 24 hours to change or cancel it before it is accepted and goes to assembly. Once it has been accepted and goes to assembly, your order can no longer be changed or canceled.
  • If you purchased an item(s) or product(s) through our online store at americanartform.com, or an American Artform retail location, and you decided you no longer want it, or you purchased it by mistake. You can return it for a full refund as long as the packaging is unopened and untampered with. If you have opened the packaging you may still be eligible for a refund as long as the item(s), or product(s) are unwashed, unworn, unused and in their original condition and packaging. A through inspection of the item(s) or product(s) will be performed to determine whether or not a refund will be issued.
  • All items purchased at or through one of our affiliate retail partners must be returned to the store from where it was purchased. (Online or retail location) All terms, conditions, rules and regulations of their return policy program apply and will be enforced by them. We will not accept American Artform items or products purchased from our affiliate partners, or any other retailer. No exceptions.
Return Time Frames.
  • For purchases made from americanartform.com. You will have 15 days from the date your item(s) or product(s) are delivered to you (i.e. delivery date) to return them. If you need more time, you can request an extension via email to: americanartformreturns@gmail.com. Otherwise your window of opportunity to return your item(s) or product(s) will close after 15 days and we will not accept them. At which time we will promptly return your item(s) or product(s) back to you. If you request a return extension, and it is approved, you will have an additional 15 days to return your item(s) or product(s). Items or products received 30 days after the delivery date (regardless of any extensions) will not be accepted, and will promptly be sent back to you. Upon making an extension request it has to be approved. You must wait for a reply stating whether or not your request has been approved. Once approved, you will have an additional 15 days to return your item(s) or products(s). If you are not approved, we will not accept your return(s) and a refund will not be issued.
  • For purchases made at an American Artform retail location. You will have 30 days from the date of purchase to return you item(s) or product(s), unless otherwise posted or specified at the time of purchase. All retail location returns must be made in person, and you must have your receipt with you at the time of the return.
  • Purchases made at one of our affiliate retailer partner locations are subject to the individual terms, conditions, rules and regulations of their return policy program.

How Much Is The Return Shipping Fee For Online Purchases?
Returns are free. We do not charge return shipping fees for purchases made online. However, you are responsible for your own postage when returning items. Please be advised.

Is There A Shipping Fee Charged For Exchanges?
  • We do not accept exchanges for purchases made online (Returns Only.) However, if you made a purchase at one of our American Artform retail locations, you can exchange it at the location where you purchased it, if that particular location accepts exchanges? (terms, conditions, rules and regulations apply.)
  • If you made a purchase through or at one of our affiliate partner locations, and would like to exchange it, you will need to contact them directly for their exchange terms, conditions, rules and regulations before returning. Please be advised.

How Long Do I Have To Return Or Exchange An Item I Bought Online?
Please see above “Return Time Frames”, and “Exchange Policies.”

How Can I Receive A Refund For My Order?
Refunds require proof of purchase: Please refer to above instructions, terms and conditions.

I Received An Item As A Gift. How Can I Receive A Refund?
Gifts returned with gift receipt or invoice will receive a gift card in the amount of the purchase price. Please provide a mailing address along with your return that we can send the gift card to. (All above return terms and conditions apply. Gifts returned without gift receipt or invoice or specified gift card mailing address, will be promptly returned to sender.

Can Online Items Be Returned In A Store?

Can Store Items Be Returned By Mail?
No.

Can I Return Or Exchange Items From One Brand In A Different Brand’s Store?
  • We do not accept items from other brands or stores, and they do not accept our brands at their stores.
  • If you purchased an American Artform branded item or product from one of our American Artform retail locations, you can return your purchase(s) from that store back to that store via their individual return and exchange policies. (See above for more details.)
  • If you purchased an American Artform branded item or product from one of our affiliate retail partners, you can return your purchase(s) from that store back to that store via their individual return and exchange policies. (See above for more details.)
I Am Interested In Purchasing An Item That Is Marked As "Final Sale" Or “Clearance” On The Website, Or I Have Just Purchased An Item That Is Marked As "Final Sale" Or “Clearance.” What Does That Mean?
Final Sale and Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged by mail or in stores. (Please see above for more details.)

Refunds and Credits
  • Most refunds are made in the form of original payment. (See above for more details)
  • Some refunds are made in the form of a gift card. Typically gifts returns. (Please see above for more details.)
  • We do not offer store credit.
